Double Glazed Glass is manufactured through the bonding of two or more glass layers with an aluminum frame in between. It can be produced using various types of glass, including tempered glass, coated glass, laminated glass, and art glass, among others. The glass sheets are separated by aluminum frames and sealed using structural adhesives or poly-phenyl adhesives. This construction creates an insulating glass unit with dry air sealed between the glass layers.
Double Glazed Glass offers the following features and benefits:
1.Superior Thermal Performance: The U-value (Heat Conductivity) of Double Glazed Glass is significantly lower, and its thermal efficiency can be further enhanced by filling the air spacer with argon gas.
2.Versatile Optical Performance: Double Glazed Glass provides flexibility in selecting various light transmittance and solar reflection rates to meet specific requirements.
3.Excellent Sound Insulation Performance: Standard insulated glass reduces noise levels to around 29-31dB. However, specialized insulated glass, filled with inert gas, can achieve sound insulation levels of up to 45dB.
4.Anti-Dew Properties: Insulated glass units are filled with a desiccant that efficiently absorbs vapor from the inner space and prevents external moisture penetration. This ensures the inner space remains completely dry, preventing any dew formation.
